Subject: V8 tb installed but not right help!!! IP: Logged
Message: I have posted this before but wanted to update it. I put the v8 tb on my v6 truck with the new throttle cable. It does not fill right the gas pedal fills stiffer and has to be put to the floor pretty hard to get the truck to downshift. I adjusted the tranny with the tv cable it helped a little but not enough. At 70 mph it feels like the truck is always under a load. Feels like it is always under a load but not as bad at 40-45 mph. What is the deal.

Message: Have someone hold the gas pedal to the floor (engine off) and look and make sure the butterflys are open all the way.

Message: I've heard of this happening to other people, but mine didn't do it. Is it hooked up to the pedal correctly? There isn't anything interfering with it is there?
