I have a 98 Dak Sport that I've installed 17X9" RT rims on works fine would be cleaner in the mud with flares on the wheel wells though.

They do fit, but like Truckboy said flares are a must in order to avoid the "GHETTO" look.
Also 17X9 R/T rims are real heavy, so you may lose a pony or so.

I've had the RT rims on my v6 for over a year now, and they are absolutely awesome. r/t boy doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.

1999 dodge dakota sport...v-6 rt wheels with the flares.....and if you think the 17's will slow u down..try the 20's...lol

The rims will work fine. Dodge is putting the R/T appearance pkg on V-6's from the factory now.

sorry but that talks about the stampede package and it coming with 16X8 inch wheels... but in a box says the only the rt will still have the 17X9

Tony check mine out, its a 99 V6 SLT, i put the R/T rims on it and added the hotchkis 2/3 lowering kit. Mine sits a little lower then the stock R/T's
