Message: I have a MSD blaster coil. Deffinately worth it. It also gives you the opportunity to widen the spark plug gap a bit.
Wouldn't want any other!

Message: I had an MSD Blaster, it went out on me on the highway recently. Thank the maker i had the foresight to leave my oem coil in place. Just switched wires and drove home. Threw the old one in the trash.
I also had an MSD ignition which went out on me just a month before the coil. I will never buy another MSD product. Ignition was less than a year old. The coil went just over a year.

Message: Same here, I bought a MSD Blaster and the SOB caused misfires and idle warble. DON'T buy the MSD 8228, it sucks

Message: I guess there's good and bad with all products but the MSD Blaster works good for me and I haven't had any problems. The ignition box they sell was a different story. It kept trying to advance the timing and conflict with the Jet chip.
Wouldn't want any other!

Message: stealwings,
how did it try to advance the timing?
btw, i have been running the MSD 6a, Blaster 3 coil and 8.5 mm wires for over two years now... no problems so far (except many toasted rotors and caps)
