Subject: Open Element Air Cleaner? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 99 dakota. It has a araid intake on it but I get tired of cleaning the air filter (K&N). I was thinking about putting a open air cleaner on it just like a crab set-up would be. Will the air be to hot for the motor and make it run like crap. Or will I be able to tell the diffrence. Will I get more or less power or more or less gas milage. Let me know waht you think.

Message: I just put an open air eliment on my 2000 dak, I love it. It sounds mean as hell, gave me a little more power some gas milage. Cost me $18.01 with tax at advance auto. Mr gasket. Came with everyhing including the adapter for the pcv hose.
