My guess would be the s10, that 4.3 Vortech v6 has more punch than the 3.9 and lighter

Just wait till they put the 3.7 in ther instead of the 3.9.... then the dakota will give the extreme a run for it's money.

We refer to the eXtreme's as "Extremely Slow". They handle very nice...but not too good on the performance side - buddy of mine has one with aftermarket Cam, Headers, TB, ColdAir, PCM mods, and exhaust...runs mid 16's.

yeah, i saw a couple of them run on the local 1/8th... single cab ran 10.9s and ext. cab ran 11.1s Both had the obvious intake and exhaust mods.
