Subject: Hesitation IP: Logged
Message: I have a '90 3.9 with well over 200K on the clock. My main problem is that it hesitates a lot when I try to accelerate with any swiftness.
I have little mechanical knowledge so I doubt I could pull off any major work on my own.
What would the problem be and is is worth taking it in?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a million,
Oliver

Message: Thank you for the advice.
About 2,300 miles ago I had a full tune up with new wires, plugs, belts etc.
I dunno if that means that they are already shot or what.
And I dunno if this could be related to the problem I get with the engine reving way up when I accelerate...

Message: If you had a tune up 2,300 miles ago... You should still be fine there... Try cleaning your carb...
If that dont work, check your fuel pump.
