Message: Ok, my truck seems to have a missfire. I have an 02 3.9 rc 5spd and whenever i pull out after just starting it, right at 2400rpms the thing just feels like its gonna shut off but it comes back at 2500rpms. then it does it in second at 2400 rpms and sometimes into 3rd gear. It happens real quick. It does it every time after just starting it after sitting whether it is cold or warm outside and last for like 2-3 minutes. But i have noticed that spuratically even after it is warm once in awhile at the 2400rpm mark it will sputter and it is only if I acclerate slowly, but i can't keep doing jack rabbit starts. The dealer says "oh, there's nothing wrong with it since there are no codes" and that is that and they aren't even willing to try and find the problem regardless if the computer says there isn't one. I can't tell you how annoying it is to have a new truck and have it running like its got 100,000 miles on it. Has anyone had this problem and if so what did you do to correct it? Your advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Message: I had an 02 sensor with a bad heating element in it. It did not throw a code for 9 months. I replaced every frigin thing in the eng compartment, and no fix. Finally it throws a code for the sensor heater circuit. put in a new sensor and Bam, FIXED. No more stumble. It was the sensor before the cat.
