Message: Blocked oil pump screen! My 92 has had this problem for 2 years. Replaced the oil pump and cleaned the valve train but the crap still is working out. Try this: if you don't want to drop the oil pan spray carb cleaner at the oil pump screen thru the drain hole. Don't fill the pan with carb cleaner; my mechanic says it will destroy the bearings. After washing the screen run kerosene thru the oil fill and out the bottom. Any sludge blocking the screen should be apparent in the drain pan. Don't run the engine with kerosene in it!
