Is there any newer mods out there that nobody is talking about? Already did the Mopar performance cold air intake, 1.7 RR, MSD thing with coil, pulleys, headers, exhaust, shift kit, and Jet II chip. Just looking for something newer that hasen't been talked about around here or at speedtweeks lately. Nos, turbo and supercharging is great but looking for something different. I'm probably maxed out but it's always good to see if theres anything new.

Wouldn't want any other!

I have a transgo shift kit. I bought it online and had a local trans shop do it for about $150. Works good and shifts quicker but for me it wasn't something I really needed since all I'm looking for is a little more power for pulling.

how about a stroker kit and turbo.. that would be something not done.. strokerkits.com has one for the 3.9 magnum.. strokes it to 4.7 ,, then add turbo and tear your tires up.. :)

I like the stoker kits. But from what people are saying it's still a little bit experimental on the 3.9's. Has anyone installed and ran it to see what kind of horsepower and times they're getting? Waterpolo, I'll e-mail ya right back.

stealwings,

i didnt see a throttle body mod in your list.
There really isnt much more you can just "bolt in". Sounds like its time to mod the intake manifold, change out the cam, and maybe some head work

Yeah, I forgot to add the throttle body. I went with F&B 48mm. I think your right Intense. I do like the intake manifolds that hughesengines sells. Thats next since I want to change out the belly pan gasket anyway. I remember Bernd saying something about when doing the head to just port it out since that's the only way you'll get more horses out of these engines. A turbo would be nice but I had one before on a Sunbird and after about 125,000 miles the engine was toast. No compression at all. Theory there was after always pressurizing the cylinder, it ate away everything, rings, valves, etc. Then again it was a Pontiac too.
