Message: Hey everyone. I have a 1988 auto 3.9 dak sport. My question is how hard would it be to switch the fuel injector to carb. My fuel injectors are on top of the throttel body not in the intake manifold so i was thinking it wouldnt be that hard. AM i right?????

Message: the fuel pump in the tank is too powerful so that needs replaced, part of the fuel lines would need replaced due to this, you would need a low pressure electric fuel pump under the hood. the fuel line that currently comes out of the top of the tank needs to come out of the bottom as to gravity feed the new pump under the hood, the fuel line from the front of the chassis to the fuel pump under the hood needs to be modified, the line from the pump to the carb needs to be fabricated, you need to install a low pressure regulator and a fuel return line back to the tank as the slightly excess pressure in these type systems needs to be vented somewhere. And the computer needs to be replaced with one designed to handle a carborator, which because of the wireing connectors to the computer from the rest of the vehicle will probabaly mean re-wiring at least part if the electricle system, at least so the right signals get to the computer somit can do its job. Yes why thehell would you want too?
