I have a 94 dak V6 3.9L. I was wondering how well V6's sound with the dual exhaust or if they sound crappy. because i want to put duals on mine with a loud cherry bomb. Thanks for your imput!!

My friend has a Dakota about the same year as yours, 3.9, flowmaster and dual 3 or 3.5" tailpipes under the bumper - sounds bad ass if you ask me. you can tell its not a V8 just from the sound, it doesnt rumble as low as an 8, but it sounds good to me, I'd drive it! -- oh yeah, he took his cat(s) off though...

i've got a 97 V6 and put dual flowmaster 50 series on it. You can tell it is a V6 but i think it sounds great everywhere except from 1900 - 2400 rpm. It sounds like it is fabricating the sound. Other than that it is awesome. I saw very good HP increase as well.
