got my 40 series on monday, had the muffler shop throw it on today using all the stock pipes. its not as loud in the cab as i thought it would be, still very noticeable past idle. @ idle it sounds like a V8 and even up to 3k rpm's it still sounds deep and low. after that it loses the sound and is just loud and buzzy. im satisfied and happy with it, wasnt expecting a muffler to make my V6 sound like a 350 at all rpm's but it still sounds very rumbly and throaty at idle. if anyone has any ?'s let me know, will answer the best i can. I also put a cold air on last week and w/ the muffler it is noticeably quicker. not tons but a bit.

Yeah, if you can, remove your CAT. And a set of headers is amaizing for the audible area.
