My 93 Dak appears to have all of the cruise parts under the hood, including the linkage to the throttle, all vacuum hoses etc for cruise, but it doesnt have the inside controls. I did not buy it new but it all appears original. Is it possible that Dodge installed everything but the inside controls, and then just installed them when someone ordered cruise? Thanks for your response.

Thats doubtful, they would never spend money installing un-needed parts. Either the stuff your looking at isn't for cruise control, or someone else removed the inside stuff because cruise wasn't working. Does it have the big black boxy thing that the linkage goes to for cruise control? Maybe the linkage your looking at is for the tranny?
