 Subject: Fastman Throttle Body -- GET ONE!

I got my Fastman TB on Friday & immediately installed it (less than 1 hour). Man, what a difference! My truck pulls noticeably harder from idle, but starting at about 2800 it REALLY pulls. The Fastman is having a sale right now...$219 (with core return). You should all get one. And I'm not affiliated...just happy!
One thing to note: after installing, my TPS voltage was .6, so I had to drill out the TPS bushings so that I could get it back into the .7-ish range. No big deal...my TBS voltage was too low with the stock TB anyway.

Got mine the other day as well! If you have been holding off on this mod, definitely buy the FASTMAN TB! Huge acceleration increase. I had to readjust my TPS voltage too. Truck seems to shift differntly...better! Dan is a very pleasant person to deal with and he provides great personalized service!

Got mine 2 months ago, before his 219$ special. But Dan credited back my card to match the special price (way cool). This mod is bitchen is'nt it? I can not believe my V6 has that crisp of throttle response. ..If you guys have not yet got one, DO IT!

I got what Dan said would work best, a V6 TB for my V6. It's got all the CFM our six's need. Top HP without losing bottom end torque, and the throttle response is great. The best part in my opinion.

Same here. The v6 TB is ported to 46mm (stock is around 40mm according to Dan). He said going bigger would only hurt low-end torque.

I have been thinking about this mod myself for my new 03 Dodge Dakota V6 but I have a couple questions.

TPS: Throttle Position Sensor. This is the sensor mounted on the right side of the throttle body; it reports the position of the throttle to the PCM. Go to http://www.speedtweaks.net/tips_tricks_D.html and search for TPS. Easy to do.

The fastman is a good piece, and at a great price right now.
BUT... I get lots of response from people who have purchased the F&B 48mm for their 3.9L and love it. Better throttle response, and more power. The TB was designed around the 3.9L, with the correct velocity for the 3.9L intake. Works well with other mods (jba headers, intake, cams, rockers). There's all new mounting hardware (stainless), complete installation instructions, new TB gasket, and full phone support. Lifetime warranty and 30 day return policy too-- if you don't feel the TB performed well-- return it for a full refund.

Do you still have any of the F&B's for the v6's that were for display? You stated before that you could knock some of the price off because they wernt near as pollished and stuff. But last we talked you were still working on puttin them togeather? Let me know!! I didnt forget about ya. Thanks!!

I had a couple, but they are gone-- only have the new batches, sold out of the others. I only have 50mm refurbished TBs left (demos, scratched, or used turn-ins part of the 1 time 52mm upgrade).

I was thinking about gettin a throttle body also. i was hoping for a cheaper one like say from V8 out of the junk yard. couple questions i had though. i have a 01 v6 w/ an airaid intake. would the throttle body void my warranty or did the intake already do that? also i know everyone is saying they can feel a difference, but i want to SEE a difference. could anyone estimate some horsepower or torque #'s also maybe estimate what i would shave off my 1/4 mile time? thanks
