Message: I have been told by people here that it would be easier to just trade your truck for one with a 5 speed, but its all you boss. It depends on how deep your pockets and the amound of time and possiable frustration you will want to use. From what i know your going to have to cut a hole in the floor of your truck, and change out the computer. Other than that I don't know, I didn't look in to it to far.

Message: i researched online and it seems that a standard is about 800 bucks less than an automatic. If the dealer has to put in a new transmission i may just have them put it in since its under warranty and pay a little extra if i have to.

Message: You won't have to buy a new computer, but you will have to locate some new foot pedals, and definately cut a whole in your floor to accomodate the stick. It definately is more work, but if you are having a dealer put it in, than that part you really won't have to worry about.

Message: Good Luck !
You'll be hard pressed to get a dealer to change a Auto to Manual especially under warranty
