 Subject: New England + Plow = Busted Tail Light

Hey,
So, I'm leaving work last night (10:00 PM EST). I get to the parking lot to see the plow guy plowing the lot as usual. Noticed that he is plowing right next to my truck. So, I hit the factory unlock button and notice that my drivers side tail light didnt' blink. Got closer to find this:
As soon as I hit the factory unlock, the plow guy drove away real quick. So, I started walking towards him and he backed up to see what I wanted. The conversation went like this:
ME: "Did you happen to see anyone hit my truck?"
PLOW GUY: "No. Couldn't have been me anyway!"
Right ... acting all guilty like.
So, I went to see the building management and they are gonna call the plow guys and find out if they hit any vehicles for me.
Regardless, I'm still pissed, out $50 - $100 for the lens and I got a nice little scratch and a little paint chip missing.

Hey dogboy, sorry bout your luck... check around online and you can find tail lights for around 45 bucks or so, maybe even cheaper. I'm not sure what you could get one for around town, but I know around here they wanted approx. 80 bucks for one. It's kind of surprising your truck looks like that though... you'd think if the plow hit it, it would have smashed up that whole corner. I guess you got off lucky.

call the cops file a report and say you saw it get hit and charge the guy with the accident PLUS leaving the scene, works for me. That way he pays not you.

If there are any security cameras as to so them. I grew up up notrh and I have a feeling if a snow plaw hit you it would of done a lot more than break a tail light. But if my truck was hit it would flip my $h%T.
