up even though the the engine is blowing hot air? by

Message: it takes me 15 to 20 minutes to get the engine warmed up, and by then I'm already where I need to go! My cab does take a little while to warm though too.

Message: Bowhunter.....
I noticed the same thing in January, when I bought my 96 Dakota. There was a thread on "Dakota Heater problems" on 7/10/02. Dan posted a detailed description of flushing the heater core ( 11/19/02)........you may want to read it.
I will try this as soon as the weather improves. If the link below doesn't work, go to "SEARCH".......Dakota heater problems".....there are two threads there.....use the 2nd thread and look for Dan's response.
