Message: Dont feel too bad people, fuel overseas for example in Germany is 3 times higher! We arent the only ones paying high prices. You can thank the greedy oil companies and taxing govt for that! Anyway, my Dakota has had a full tank since last fall, when I paid roughly $1.12 a gallon. Been driving my little 69 horsepower Toyota since (winter car), and not driving it that much either. Last fill up on that was $1.56/gallon in Ohio, a week ago.

Message: In Newport News, Va - I just filled up on my way home from work, paid $1.72 for 93 octane. Oh ya! you can't forget that 9/10s of a penny, so you may as well pump it up a penny.

Message: Here in San Diego I would say it averages about 2.12 for regular, and around 2.40 for the good stuff. The lowest I've seen it was 1.92 @ costco yesterday.

Message: Gas prices in San Diego are normally the highest in the nation, another effect of the "sun shine" tax. The reason they claim it cost more then the rest of the nation is because we refine our gas one step futher for our Ca emission standards. This still doesn't explain why it lost more the Los Angles though.
