Hey there people. i own a 88 dak sport 3.9 with overdrive. I was wondering If anyone knows how much the A500 jet tranny costs. also i find the engine doesnt sounds so nice like it has a lil ping sound if i use a higher octain gas will that make that sound go away?

Try it! thats the only way you will ever know. The ping is called engine knocking. I get the same thing is I use the lowest grade octane, I use the medieum level and works great, I get better milage and performance.
I have no Idea about the Jet Tranny.

To get rid of the ping you should install a 180 deg thermostat, and autolite 3923 spark plugs. No more need to buy the high octane gas.
