Message: My 3.9 98 cc stalls a lot when I first start up. It goes to high rpm then drops bucks and stalls. What could this be?

Message: Mine did that last week after getting it home from work no problem. Dealer cleaned the TB and that seemed to fix it. I do notice a loss in power now tho.

Message: I have a 98 V6 3.9 and it ended up being a leak in the Intake gasket. Mine would have problems starting but once it ran for a little bit it was ok. You can check to see if you pushing out blue smoke out the back to see if you are burning oil from it.
