Will octane boost help me any if I have a 92 v6 with a Mopar Pcm? Will the hotter computer run better on the higher octane is what I'm tryin to say? It is already required to run 93 octane. Anyone know?

It may or may not help. If your engine never pings which would be picked up by the knock sensor and cause the computer to cut back on timing then probably not. If this does occur then it could help by raising the octane above 93.

But be careful what you buy and put into your Dak. Some octane boosters use chemicals that will ruin a O2 sensor and other emission equipment. Read the label carefully.

too much octain can and will hole your pistons as it will run hotter. seen it on my neihbors airplane, he put too high octain in it and burned a hole it 3 of the 6 before he landed. He was only doing touch and go practice and before the first touch it looked like someone shot his engine like in a WWII movie.
