Message: first question, will a V8 throttle body coversion do anything? Don't you have to make your intake manifold ports bigger then as well? Second question is wouldn't putting a cold air intake on already cause you to get cooler air to the factory position of the IAT. I put an intake on and I swear it gets worse gas mileage now than it did, but it runs better! I'm afraid if i do the IAT mod I'll get like 3 MPG!!!

Message: The TB mod alone will help a little, but your right to see big gains you need to ream out the top of the intake a little.

Nice website.
I like the looks of the "open air-filter", such as the 14"x3" K&N, and read several articles on 'open-air' vs. 'cold-air intake". But I'm still not sure if the 14x3" filter will fit my system. Can you tell me if I can get one for my truck?
