Subject: Blinkers on the blink IP: Logged
Message: My blinker will come on and blink once or twice and then stop, I can then manually actuate the blinker and get it to half blink. After awhile it may start working and then stop all together. Is there a relay I can give a good knock and if so where is it. Thanks

Message: DO your hazard lights work? If not, it sounds like a problem with your Flashers... You can get info on those on the net or in a Haynes manual.
Good Luck

Message: Mine did the same thing blink for a while then quit.I tried bulbs fuse and new relay. It was my left turn signal. I replaced the tail light socket got it at Auto Zone and that fixed the problem. pull your tail lights out and check them with the blinker on thats how I found out it was the socket.

Message: Check all lamps first. If all ok, buy a new flasher anywhere. It is located in the fuse panel above the emergency brake pedal in my truck. Note: I bought the replacement, it was cheep and only lasted 6 months. Get the heavy duty one especially if using extra turn signals, brake lights, effects, or towing trailers with lighting.

Message: I have kind of the opposite problem. I have a 98 C/C. My emergency flashers do not work. Sometimes they do....most times they don't. I am sure it is the same flasher unit that runs both turn signals and emergency flashers. I have no clue as to what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Message: ya i thought at first it was my flasher but i have changed it twice. replaced the first time with the replacement and nothing changed so i used a heavy duty flasher and still the same thing.
i was told before that it may be a ground problem which makes sense to me because it seems to screw up after driving awhile or listing to music really loud. where would i look to find these grounds so i can check and see if they r loose or anything?
thanks
