Subject: Where could I buy a whole bed (used)? IP: Logged
Message: My grandpa's friend said that instead of buying a new rear panel for the truck and having it painted (along with having the tailgate and everything else repaired and painted), that'd it'd be cheaper to just find a used bed in the color I need (red) and have someone install it for me. Do any of you know any websites where i might be able to find one and then just have it freighted to me. I'll also be talking to my grandpa's friend about it. Since he owns a repair shop, I think he's got some books with stuff like that in em. Thanks you all,
Josh

Message: You can try a bone yard. Try calling around and ask if they have a truck with a front end hit, and how much they want for the bed. IF you order online your gonna get hammer with shipping. Swaping out a bed is pretty easy as well, with some basic tools, and a few guys to help lift, you can remove and install yourself. Just dont forget to unbolt the gas neck, most people forget about it and wonder why the bed isn't moving. Good luck man.
