Message: This afternoon at lunch time a Hispanic Gentlemen in a 5.0 GT convertible pulls up at the light I look over to him he revs up the ole 5.SLOW, and its ON. The light turns green I hole shot him by a car length and keep it there the whole 1/8 of a mile. I believe he was stock except for the Flowmaster Exhaust and the smallest dang wheels must have been 13x10 wire Daytons. I roll the window down and he say that my truck is pretty quick for a V-8 and I say thanks but you just ran against a V-6 he was floored and followed me back to my work and I popped the ole hood and he looked like he was going to cry. 92 CC 5-speed 3.21 3.9 V-8 TB,CF2 Clutch PP MSD6 Ing. Message: Good kill. I don't think I quite have enough mods to take a GT stang. I have a 92 rc 3.9 with Mopar Pcm,V8 TB, FMS #19injectors, 3.92 open gear, Flowmaster 70series, K&N filter, TPS mod, Taylor 8mm wires, Autolite 3923's, and a rollpan. The only thing that hurts me is I have an automatic. I might be close to an automatic GT convertable with a bad driver. I think my truck should hit 15.90's if I get traction. Any one else have any good Rustang kills???

Message: Im in college and my roomate has a 86 convertable GT. We were racing around one day and he could barely keep up. I think it was mostly cause he couldn't drive, but I know my truck can take rustangs on the 1/8th mi, NO problem. Right now my mods have me up to about a 12 sec 0-60. It's wicked fun picken on them, but most of the time they are too p***y to play, oh well!
Flamed; was the centerforce clutch a good investment? would like to hear about it. Oh and the mopar pcm, is that a performance pcm? I am in the market for a chip at this point, need info!

Message: I would be happy as hell if my truck breaks high 15's in the quarter. It's too hard to launch because of the massive power of my V6.(hehe) From the factory, it ran a best of 17.0 at 79mph. I'll keep slowly moddin it til i feel it necessary to stop.(probably never)

How did you find a mopar pcm for the 3.9 V6? I've been looking everywhere. Show me where to go to get one please :-)

Message: I can have the Part Number for the Mopar Pcm for you tomorrow. My truck is in the process of being painted. I'll have it as soon as possible. I originally got the part number from an old Mopar Performance catalog. I just went to the dealer and gave them the number, and off i went. It is good for 10hp and 15lb/tq. The dealer told me there was 3 that he could get ahold of. I have one of those 3. It said on the box that it is for 1992-93 automatics, but I think it would work up to a 96.
Dodgeboy, what elevation are you at? I'm from Ohio. I think the manual tranny is what makes the biggest difference in e.t. My 60 foot times are 2.5's. I had to baby the launch,(1,100rpm) even before mods to get it to hook up. I'm 100% sure that my truck would run 15's if I had a sure-grip.

Message: Ok. The part number is P5249521 on the Mopar Pcm for GenII automatics. I think it is different for manual transmissions though.
