I have recently replaced the oil pump in my 89 dak due to a gauge that would totally drop when stopped after warmed up. Now my pressure looks better but it still drops once worm. any ideas???

Have you verified that the pressure sending unit is not defective? Hook of a mechanical gauge and see if it shows the same drops, if not, then you need to replace the sending unit.
