Message: I thought it was the fun clutch staying locked up mine feathers out after a few seconds. I get it anytime its warming up and I am starting from a stop in first. I have an automatic tranny that may be why mine does it.
hope that helps.

Message: I have a 2001 v6. I noticed the loud start too. I asked the dealer and they said it's just the engine warming up cause it's cold. I hope that's what's happening to your truck.

Message: Are you talking about that initial "roar" from the fan? There are other posts on here about that. I kinda like it.
