I,d like to know if anyone has put mag v6 headers on a pre mag.i know they have the same bolt pattern.i,ve called summit and jegs they don,t ,but whats in thier books.

I've have mag manifolds on my 88. You have to get a whole new exhaust because the Y pipe is different, so to get the most out of it go new all the way back. You will have to mess with the hangers but it's no big deal. Before you put the Y pipe on check the exit pipe and see how it looks, mine had a BIG obstruction that had to be taken out. Doing this didn't help on the bottom but on top I got more revs and it did help my gas mileage. Hope this helps.
