Message: You need to bypass the o2 sencer that was on the car or after the cat,(i havent looked under my truck to see. I thiunk you need to get some kind of resistor, you can get it from radio shack, but i dont know what kind.

Message: when it warms up it might be the IAT sensor. Move it to the air intake. that should help.

Message: you can get what you need from krc performance or speedtweaks, at krc, it's called the krc kat box and it's $89, you only need the single...i'm not sure what speedtweaks is now carrying, but i think that they have something equal or better called an O2 sim....check it out www.krcperformance.com and www.speedtweaks.net

Message: i'd be a little concerned that it's not sending any codes, if it were my truck, then i'd go ahead and get it in hopes of returned performance, try e-mailing bernd and see what he thinks...he's really good about solving problems like this, i just got a magnaflow cat. just to be on the safe side...thank god i did, cuz i got pulled over by a trooper yesterday because my exhaust was too loud, luckly i had a hole in my muffler so i didn't get a ticket, when i pointed that out to the trooper when we were under my truck, he'd have definately seen that i didn't have a cat., that would have been a $25,000 fine from the government here in VA
you can get bernd's e-mail or even tom's e-mail (they're both really good) from www.speedtweaks.net
hope this helps,
brian

Message: randyr,
you asked about the waterpump?? Well, last tuesday mine went out. We thought at first it was the belt tensioner because it tore my belt in half then my engine compartment starting making some really nasty sounds so i changed the oil. still sounded like st*t but i needed to drive to work. Then tuesday coming home fron work it sounded like there was metal to metal contact all threw the front of the truck. Then it blew. The waterpump went bad :( After i was fixed the noises I was hearing were gone. So my thoughts on your question is yes! Mine never leaked a drop of water. My water was always full. But all of a sudden it starting makeing a racket and the next day i was paying 360 to have it fixed :(
Just my input...

Message: i paid about $100 for my stainless magnaflow and about $60 to have it installed...sounds a little bit expensive, but it's not even close to what i'd pay for getting cought without a catalytic converter, and the power gain is very close to the same that you'd get without a cat...
hope this helps,
brian
