If anyone in the michigan area is interested i am selling the 3.9L v-6 outta my 91 dak. I am in the process of converting the dak to a 5.9 and am in no need of the v-6 also if may consider throwing in an 88 3.9 as well. Make me an offer.

really i dont know where to start i am broke (arent we all) but the dak is gettting tired and the wife needs to drive it 300 miles a week for work, so i need to get a plan worked out. E-mail me and maybe we can work something out.

i can get one from either the junk yard,for abour $200 running, and i can hear it run. Ebay usually goes for less than that unless its real close to someone that neeeds it.

sold the 88 this mornin guys sorry. decided to keep the 91 cuz i just picked up a 92 dak for 600 bucks that the motor needs a new oil pump. Just gonna put the 91 motor in the 92 and probly part out the 92 v-6 cuz i have this feelin that it was oil starved a time or two

This can be done but the 91 has a carb and the 92 has mpi. It is a totaly different engine so nothing can be swaped.

91 is not a carb its a tbi which is the exact same as the motor that is in the 92

Actually the 91 engine is the same as the 92 with the exception of how the fuel injection process is done. The tbi has the injectors in the tbi unit, where as the multipoint fuel injection (92) uses fuel rails. JUst thought I'd clear up some of the confusion.

well i have a 1989 v-6 3.9 completly disassembled (all parts carb to pan &waterpump to bell housing )ALL NEW PARTS!ALL THJAT IS NEEDED IS THE MACHINE WORK ON THE bTM.END-YOU BUY THE BEARINGS( HEADS ARE DONE HAVE BEEN MAGGED NEW VALVE SPRINGS& VALVE JOB)EVERY PART HAS BEEN CLEANED EXCEPT THE BLOCK +A REBUILT 5 SPEED NEW PROCESS TRANNY + A 350 8 1/4 REAR END ALL FOR $$$$1000.00
