Ok, i know this may sound like one of those things where i say this happens if i do this and you say then don't do that but just bear with me. I race my truck alot on the street and stuff. When i get my truck above 95 mph. The next time that i get up and head out for the day, it seems to stay stuck in first gear for about a mile. Without maxing out the rev limiter i can only do about 35 mph and that is pretty slow to be moving through rush hour traffic. Any input as to what may cause the tranny to do this?

it is posaable that a spring in your valve body in the tranny has gotten to hot ,and lost some tension or binding in its bore.or just a plugged filter
when it does shift is it harsh ?
