I took off my TB today and cleaned it out. Also took the IAS off and cleaned it. I don't know if the plunger is supposed to move or not, but mine wouldn't budge. I didn't push real hard because I know they are very fragile. Also I looked down in the manifold and it looked pretty gunked up. Any suggestions on what to use to clean it????

Use soap and water to clean the selinoid and TB, it (the IAS)will move, but it takes some force. Do not try to move it you may damage it. About the only way you can clean the inside of the manifold is to take it apart. Gasket set and 1/2 days labor. not worth it unless it has a bad belly pan gasket.
