Subject: Plenum pan IP: Logged
Message: Is it necessary to have the plenum pan on the intake manifold for proper operation?
What are the advantages? I don't think mine has one on.

Message: Yes you need one. Yes you have one. If you didn't your truck wouldn't stay running. that keeps the air and the oil seperated. the pan keeps the air in the intake to go to the heads and keeps the oil from getting sucked up into the runners and burning it. Pretty important piece. Hope that helps.
