Subject: 93 3.9L homebrew intake help IP: Logged
Message: I have read some of the posts on homebrew cold air intakes. I would like to make one for my 1993 3.9L Do I just leave the airhat on and connect it to the airhat? Also the hose coming off the airhat is not a round hose, its rectangular so I'm not sure how the hose will connect. And how far up do I run the intake (where should the filter be placed, front corner etc.) Pics of 1993 3.9L homebrews would be great also fellas. THanks

Message: Most people get a 97 or newer airhat and use one of those fernco cuplers, and yeah you want it to place the airfilter in the right front.
