Message: I also want the low end torque, i shall soon be buying an ASP crank pulley which free's up a little HP but mucho Torque in the lower rpm band. Other than that i hear an intake system helps as well.

Message: the air intake system well help but to get the most you may have to swap cams, to get a real bottom end to the engine
get rid of the A/C,the fan (use electric),P/S if you can,
Crane cams ,lunati, and competition cams , may be able to dial you in on what your intakes well need to do
try an engine builder ,some have software that cam cross match and dial in the best cam and induction system for the engine

Message: Chris: What kind of muffler do you have? I just put on duals from flowmaster. I got mucho high end HP from em. Also how is the V8 TB working for ya? How much HP and Torque did you get/feel when you put it on?
Only one more Q, do you have any idea of your HP & Torque figures or Quarter mile times?
The reason i ask is cause i got a 4X4 CC as well and was wanting to put on the V8 TB.
Thanks for any info

Message: Chris: I was gonna get the pulley from either truckperformance.com or from ASP itself. I was gonna try to throw it on myself.
How is that Airaid intake. I was looking at that, as well as the volant or K&N. I like the cheaper price, but how does it perform?

Message: I am happy with the airraid intake works well
its probably just as good as the others to.
if you dont like the filter that comes with the airraid than you can just swap it out with a k&n or something

Message: Chris: Does the airaid intake have a heat shield on it? Have you taken off the black protective thing behind the grille to help fuel that cold air in, or do you just have it sitting when the factory air box was?

Message: The airraid doesn't come with the heat shield
One could be made (sheet metal or something)
I didnt take off the black barrior but i may do something about that when things warm up a little.
i have it placed where the airbox was located
