yes another horrible question for a newbie. I want to put a 40 series on my 94 dakota standard cab short bed 4x4. I want just one 2.5 inch outlet, with the tailpipe coming out where my stock exhaust came out, behind the ride rear wheel. I will it make a difference if the ooutlet is on the middle of the side? can I not put one on if the outlet is on the side or middle? thanks for any replies.

In most cases it doesnt matter if the inlet is located on the side or middle... But I would ask a muffler shop before i bought one, the side inlet worked on a 99 ram i did.

I have the same truck bud, and I put on the same flo master. Sounds awesome, has been on for well over three years and doesn't snap crackle or pop yet!
