 Subject: Engine Light/Engine stalls

I have a 89 Dodge Dakota, V-6. The engine
light comes on somtimes within a few
minutes after starting or it will come on at
about 30 miles.
When the engine light comes on, if I come to
a stop or try to make a turn the engine shuts
off . When I restart the engine the check
engine light will go off for a while and
continue to run, then same problems occurs
within a few minutes again? Anyone have
this problem and how can I fix the problem.

you need trouble codes
turn the ignition from OFF to ON not start three times on the third try leave it on
the engine light well begin to flash keep a pen and paper handy to mark down how many time its it blinks
for example 2 flashes pause then 3 flashes well give you a code 23
there may be more than one so leave it be, call back if you do or dont get codes
