Message: I get cams done by Crower-- custom grind based on your modifications and or specs.
You'll need longer pushrods, roller rockers are also a good idea.
I can set you up.

Message: RTDkota can you do a custom grind cam and 1.7 roller rockers? A lot of places i have seen say that if you do a new cam to stick with the 1.6 RR's. Is it a space issue or lousy perfomance issue, or neither?
Thanks

Message: Crower did a custom cam for me based on the 1.7s I already had (Crower). There's two ways of doing it-- Go with 1.6s, and have the cam ground based on using 1.6s, or go 1.7s on the stock cam... You CAN do 1.7s on a cam, as long as your lift isn't too radical. I run an effective .512/.512 lift (based on the 1.7 ratio)... and the truck runs excellent (this is with a 5.9L, 3.9L would of course be a different grind.)
