 Subject: 318 oil pan/dipstick?

ok,put a 318 out of a fifth ave into my 91 dak.I got lucky and found an oil pan off a 91 dak that had a 318 and put it onto my 318 and have found a small problem.It is not reading any oil even though I have put almost 5 quarts into it.The oil pan for the 91 dak was one or two years only did they have the dip stick in another location,did it have a special dip stick, or can anyone tell me how much oil is suppose to go into this bad boy?By the way,engine-swaps mounts ,though pricy, were worth every damn penny.Just my opinion.

5 liters in the 318 and the 360
unless your a lube guy at the local dealer and insist on putting 5 liters in my 3.9
three times ,i havent gone back

but thats why they kept shooting 5 in my 3.9 , the kid couldnt count past four and assumed it was an eight
must have been a honda driver
