i have a 94 dakota the other day i was going down the expressway and the thing just died wityh no warning. after getting it home i found the auto shutdown fuse blown. when i replaced it the truck started but died as soon as i moved the truck, it blew the fuse again. i found a wire that rubbed bare on the left hand upper control arm. when i hit a bump it would groundout and blow the fuse in turn killing the fuel pump and ignition system. i taped the wire and that problem appears to be fixed. now the starter will not engage with the key. i can jump across the soleniod and start the truck. i have a five speed in the thing and cannot find a clutch safty switch. can anyone tell me if this truck has one or not. i hope this helps your problem.

i got a 94 dakota 3.9 v6 fuel injected, just dropped a new motor in about 2 days ago beacause i split a cylinder in half, i hooked everything back up the right way cuz everything was marked, new crank and cam sensor, new spark mod, new plugs and wires etc, the fuel pump and the asd relays only work when you manually connect them by hand, gets gas but only when you manually connect them, no spark, it had the corossion on the 3/4 red wires under the power disturbution box and i fixed it and it still doesnt spark, ive checked the cap and rotor and there fine, i dont know what else to do, any help works, please and thank you,

i just got done putting a tranny in my uncles 95 dakota and now no spark nor fuel but u can hear fuel pump turn on. tried new coil no spark outta it. he had new comp,put in about a lil over a yr ago i seen alotta ideas on this site that i will try today any other help would be grt and the guessing game just cost to much.. wish i had access to a computer to read the prob but not a option

check all the connector..the pins rot..and not connection....sometimes you have to solder the wires together and get rid of the connector..
