Message: Trade for the Ford, they have a good forum were people don't dig up old posts and threaten members to buy another brand if they don't fix their truck.

Message: hold on to the dakota, try to reset the pcm. disconnect the negative post of your battery for about 10 minutes, and turn key over to start about 10 times. i had same problem with my dakota and this solved the dying problem.

Message: Do you have any codes stored in the computer? You might want to have Autozone pull them if you can't pull them on that year.
