 Subject: Computer reset

I know this is kinda dumb but how do you reset the computer in a 97 dakota sport 5spd 2wd. I installed new bosch plat. 4 plugs and new bosch wires, a cold air intake, and a dual outlet flowmaster exhaust. What is resetting the computer going to do for me as far as performance?

I believe..(and i may be wrong)..that the mods u listed dont require the resetting of the computer...but anyways...disconnect the negative cable on the battery...turn the key to run position for 10 secs...turn off..then re-connect battery
