Subject: driveline lengths?? IP: Logged
Message: have a 88 gen 1, broke the 7 1/4 rearend and
have replaced it with a 8 1/4 the driveline is
now too long. will i need to shorten mine or is
there a stock piece to bolt in.
88' v6 5 speed 2wd short wheel base.

Message: There's a company in Houston,Texas called Diveline Specialties that deals in custom length, quality drive shafts. They made one for my dirt track stock car in the early 90's and I think it cost around $175.00 including Spicer u-joints. You may have to supply measurements.

replacement. Anyone know if the automatic
