 Subject: Which bracket for V8 TB

I'm not sure if I got any reply's to this ? because it was buried in another ? I asked about TB's. Can you use the bracket that holds the TB cable from the V6 TB or do you use that big black one from the V8 to hold the V8 TB cable when you replace it? Thanks

me personally with out even looking ,i would only use the TB assembly itself ,and as much of the original parts as i could . if it an automatic you may throw the throttle valve cable way out, stick with what works and scavenge the other parts if the need arises. this well allow you to eliminate problems as they are seen

Same bracket--- just swap your sensors, run a V8 cable, and hook up your trans cables and such.

Right then. Stick with the V6 bracket. There is a 95 V8 cable on a Jeep cherokee at my local u pull a part. It looks like it has a ball end receiver on it. Will a TB cable this old on a 2000 V8 TB? Thanks for all the help.

Some of the guy's here have tried to use a V8 RAM cable and it wouldn't allow them to get WOT. The V8 Dakota cable shouldn't run you over $30. at the dealer I got mine for $21. +ship online.
