Hi I have a 98 Ram 3.9 yes i know this is for dakata's but they are all MOPARS I have 2000 Intrepid and a Gnarly 1973 Roadrunner 440 6 Pack
My problem is i am old LOL fuel injectors I can barely spell LOLI pulled them out on my 3.9 Ram my truck runs like CRAP &^*&^&*&* I drive it seldom cause its MO FUNNER with MO POWER in My RRunner ! 1998 Ram 30k miles it runs real crappy at the start coughing sputtering till i gets warmed up no matter the weather i pulled the injectors there is no way to tell if they are clogged? looking at them all these sensors &*%*
Try 3 carbs on a big block thats EASY ! Any advise on a way to tell and get some kind of HP out of this truck it has always seemed real weak K N filters Flowmasters and a Ruger Super Blackhawk the only mods. LOL Pleasae advise Thanks Robert rmfoster@charter.net

I had the same problem with my '98 3.9L 5 speed...turned out to be the spead sensor (Thanks to Autozone for free code scan). My Dak would run fine through the warm-up cycle and it would misfire and try to stall as it reached normal operating temperature (acted like it was running Lean). Speed sensor took care of the problem.
