Message: Nick, if your looking for a massive project to occupy your time, I commend you. If not, trade that sucker in on a 4x4.

Message: My son wants to convert his 4x4 Jeep Comanche pick-up into 2wd but it's such a nice truck I keep telling him to "leave it alone". I still see him eyeballing 2wd versions and then eyeballing his. It's only a matter of time and that boy will have his truck spread all over the driveway.

Message: I would go with a solid axle swap if your gonna
use it a fair amount for offroading. any
questions on that let me know and I will try to
help you with it

Message: hey if you have good mechanical skills and can weld very very very well........find a 4x4 rear smashed dakota in a junk yard. cut the frame in front of the firewall. then cut your 2wd frame in same spot......and put the 4x4 one on.... this would probably be the most economical way of doing it rather then buying all the parts seperatly. the motor mounts should be the same. you'll just have to get tranny......but hey.....the wrecked one would have that to...its worth looking into......whatever you cant salvage from the wreck you then buy......good luck..
