 Subject: Rim Cleaner? What works

I have a 16 inch aftermarket rim.
I thought it was chrome but someone
told me it is stainless.
Anyways what would be the best chemicals
to use to clean it and bring it back to its
origanl brightness.

What I have found that works the best in making rims shine is Mothers Aluminum Polish. I have a set of Weld wheels that I paid good money for, and I would never use anything else. It only takes a little elbow grease and about 30 minutes to do all four.

I have a chevrolet pick up truck and the rims have gotten pretty bad with break dust and dirt that i have scrubbed with everything and nothing is working. What would help that is affordable and available almost anywhere?

Try a product called Mean Green you can get it at the dollar stores. It is the best stuff i have found for rims and tires

I found that hot rimz works best, sells at walmart. Either that or orange blast.

Castrol super clean .in the purple bottle...spray it on leave for 30 seconds and all the brake dust and dirt comes right off.
you can get a gallon of it at walmart for about 6 bucks!!
