Subject: MSD 8.5 / Tach Adapt IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2002 V6 and was wondering which set of MSD's 8.5MM wires to use... I checked their site and they dont list a set for the 2002 model. Will the one for the 2000 model work out alright (PN 32969 ). Also, Speedtweaks says I will need a tach adaptor, is this true for the 2002? Thanks for the information...

Message: those wires will be fine. the tach adapter you are talking about is an hook-up on some of the ignition amplifier boxes that lets you hook up an external tach, ya know the big fat tach the ricer stick on thier dashboards, or the big ugly tachs some of the r/t guys put on thier steering wheel over thier existing tach, (j/k) but that what its for, its more accurate.
