Message: yeah but who has the upper hand in a 0-60.
stock
2004 4.0L v6 Ranger Edge clubcab 2wd 3.55's
or
modded
98 3.9L v6 Dakota rc 2wd and 3.55's
mods include... Homebrew Intake,v8 tb, glasspack single in dual out,IAT adjuster, msd 6a,blaster ss,8.5mm, and AP3923's at .60, and tps at .75?
another question, if you have bigger rims does it make your gear ratio go up or down? does it help you get more low end or loss of the low end?

Message: If the rims with the tires included are bigger than stock then the gear ratio would go down...resulting in a slight loss of low end.

Message: I don't even know how to read tire sizes...lol. Let's see if Larry or someone knowledgable sees this and replies. If it's just a tad bit bigger, the difference probably wouldn't even be noticeable by anything but a dyno test (if that).

Message: my dakota was a junked rebuild I have a lot of connections when it comes to motors and trannys and "half" of a few vehicles. Not too bad at welding and love dropping carbed motorin newer vehicles. My appologies on not explaining further. The motor and tranny is a balaced/printed block from dodge for the 82 's. I just had some friends dig thru new/old parts factory. Its nice to hear old sounds from a new vehicle if you know what I mean
