Subject: engine managment controls... IP: Logged
Message: has anyone seen or tried the new APEXI Super Air Fuel Converter? i saw it on ruckperformance.com it was under universal engine management systems. it might be everyones answer to the jet chip...but im not sure. this is what truckperformance.com says about it...
"Tech Notes: The AFC comes preprogrammed with most of the commonly used airflow meter/pressure sensor maps. By setting the AFC to one of these base programs, the user is able to adjust injected fuel mounts by +/-50%. Eight user defined RPM adjustment points allow maximum tuning in 500-RPM increments. Fuel can also be adjusted for part and full throttle situations."
if i understand this right it will allow you to control all the functions of your stock ecm...air/fuel ration, spark advance.
also i was wondering if anyone has tried the venom 400 controlor?
both of these are on my wish list...just dont know if they are worth it.

Message: I've heard the venom isn't that great. As for the ApexI unit, i've seen them used on cars and they work great, i'm not sure how it would do on our trucks though.
